Wow. That title is way to long for the short thing I am about to post but it is this is the beginning of some brainstorming for an upcoming post on strategy.
The premise is this:
Using freemiums and a minimalist decentralised organisational structure a company can reach and engage a huge “market share” (they would call them members, users, or maybe friends).
To understand my ramblings here you would need to understand freemiums.
Also you would need to understand decentralised organisations, which would require you to read starfish and the spider and then spend some time as a member of an open-source software movement.
craigslist is the perfect example
Anyway, maybe I will explain all of this one day soon. It is a super powerful strategy though. One I will be using for one of my current client’s projects.
