Well, it is Monday and I am online finding a solution to a client’s problem: a canned response with an image.
Google Mail (gmail) has canned responses (also known as email templates, etc.) that let you create standard emails for standard responses.
In this case they want to be able to fax a picture of their sales tax certificate (I set them up with an internet fax service that works right from their email, it faxes documents that you attach to the email). But they don’t want the hassle of attaching the picture themselves…
Gmail unfortunately makes html (rich) emails tricky.
Luckily there are programs that solve this problem. Including what I found this morning, a firefox add-on called gmail skins..
