So you thought you were special because you knew shortcuts like “alt+tab” to switch between open windows, function keys, “j” and “k” to navigate between emails in gmail and “ctrl+tab”/”ctrl+shift+tab” in firefox to switch between tabs?
I bet you impressed a few “regular” people with your superior nerd skills. But that was just the tip of the iceberg my friend.
Today let me point you labnol.org’s excellent articles on Windows keyboard shortcuts. You’ll never use a mouse again (if you weren’t at that point alredy). (actually some poorly designed website interfaces force mouse use, but I digress)
Here they are:
“Keyboard shortcuts with Windows Logo key”
“XP Tricks: Save Time with Windows Explorer Shortcuts”
These are great for impressing clients and bosses, etc. and convincing them of your tech geek superiority
Of course, just preferring and using Linux does that as well.
My next thing is to post about some linux shortcuts.
