Another site the frog would like to imitate:
I don’t consider my self a web “designer.” Instead I like to think of myself as a web developer (code), and even more specifically as a web marketer.
The reason for that is simple… I have very basic design skills.
I don’t make pretty things. I make powerful web engines that sell.
But I have to admit that I sure love looking at beautifully designed websites.
I don’t mean to say that I think they sell any better (in many cases ugly sites gain more traffic and more sales; example #1 is craiglist)
But ugly and plain craigslist is really in a sense beautiful. It has a simplistic minimalist beauty. Which always reminds me of plaintxt.org where I got this blog’s theme.
Beautiful can be ugly.
