The Google Local Business Center (the dashboard where businesses can edit their local business listings) has added a new feature:
“post to your place page”

Strategic Planning - A consulting gem

Jaxworks.com, a brilliant small business website I found circa 2004, has an excellent Strategic Planning worksheet.
I had a printout of it in my binder since November 2004 and gave it another look. Wow!
I will certainly be using this in my consulting work.

BUT,
Should you write a business plan?
For most startup small businesses the answer is NO!
Should you plan? ABSOLUTELY
Should you write up a formal business plan? No
